This position performs general maintenance on grounds, facilities, equipment, and trails. Duties include seasonal grounds work such as mowing and weed trimming, cleaning restrooms and facilities, landscaping, and performing minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs. This position is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of a variety of park equipment and vehicles and will perform other duties as assigned. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license, be able to work a varied schedule, including some weekends and holidays, and traverse rough terrain. A driving record check will be performed.

Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience or training in the building construction trades, general building maintenance, or in the repair or maintenance of mechanical equipment. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
