How do I apply for a state job?
Visit ARCareers and create a profile by clicking "Sign in/View Profile". Once you have created a profile and find a job you are interested in applying for, click "Click Here to apply" within the job listing.
How do I find out about current openings?
Current openings are listed here on our career site. You can search by keyword or location using the search bar or browse available positions by Department by clicking on CAREERS.
How do I know if I qualify for a position?
Your application will be reviewed by the Department. You will receive an email whether you met the minimum qualifications of the job. If the Hiring Manager is interested in learning more about your background, a member of that Department will reach out to you directly.
How can I update my application?
Your candidate profile can be edited at any time including uploading more recent resumes and applicable documents. Once an application has been sent through the hiring process (reviewed), the application cannot be edited. You can always view submitted and saved jobs applications in your candidate profile under the section labeled “Jobs Applied”.
