This position is responsible for landscaping and ground maintenance activities at the Village Creek Golf Course. The Landscape Technician performs groundskeeping activities, such as pruning, mulching, weeding, and planting trees and shrubs. Other job duties include operating a variety of groundskeeping equipment, maintaining the irrigation system. and other duties as assigned. Familiarity with, and the ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers and groundskeeping equipment is required. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, be able to work a varied shift, including weekends and holidays, and be able to work in all kinds of weather. A driver's record check will be performed.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, plus three years of experience performing groundskeeping and landscaping activities. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
