Review agency case files to ensure households receive all benefits for which they are eligible. Evaluate and resolves all discrepancies in reviews. Narrate and review information collected during field investigation and ensure compliance with state and local federal laws in determining client eligibility. Research court records, Accessor's offices child support payments, and wills to determine additional resources, income and assets. contacts and or visit banking institutions insurance companies, schools and employers to verify available resources. Performs other functions as assigned. Interview family members, neighbors, and school personnel, etc. to obtain information needed to complete the review process. Initiates and responds to verbal and written correspondence inquiries.
Preferred Qualifications, specific skills and/or professional background details:
Knowledge of federal and state laws, policies and procedures and guidelines governing client eligibility for income assistance programs. Knowledge of community-based programs and services. Skill to interpret and apply policy, procedures and guidelines in determining eligibility for financial assistance programs. Skill to evaluate client information, assess client's needs, and make referrals. Skill to prepare, present and review oral and written information and reports. Skill to interview and provide technical assistance. Skill to use computer software to produce reports and written communications.
Some travel including overnight.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time including riding in a vehicle, extensive computer work utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, occasional overtime, ability to utilize current phone system, clear enunciation, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
