Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or a related field; plus two years of experience in policy development, researching or determining eligibility for social service programs. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. Job Summary
The DHS (Department of Human Services) Program Eligibility Specialist II is responsible for researching and drafting new and revised policies and procedures, providing technical assistance within and outside of the agency along with, serve as subject matter experts for government programs. This position is governed by the state and federal laws and agency policy.
