Salary Range: $40,340.00 - $58,493.00


The Rehabilitation Facility Supervisor is responsible for managing a rehabilitation program. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.


Performs a lead role in coordinating predetermined work assignments of co-workers and/or subordinate employees by communicating prioritization of activities and project deadlines, reviewing and monitoring the work performed, interpreting policies, procedures, or precedents, and providing supervisory or management staff with project updates on a regular and recurring basis to ensure adherence to project goals and timeframes. Manages a rehabilitation program by implementing goals, objectives, short and long-range plans and projects, developing operating policies and procedures, monitoring activities for effectiveness and compliance, initiating corrective actions or revisions, and interpreting and implementing laws and policies. Coordinates program activities by conferring with other center program and community organization staff, referring clients for alternate or additional services, serving on committees and task forces, and presenting information programs. Performs administrative duties by identifying section needs, preparing budget requests, monitoring and approving expenditures, reviewing and maintaining client needs, and preparing and presenting reports and information. Performs other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures. Knowledge of state and federal laws relating to rehabilitation facility operations. Knowledge of rehabilitation programs and services. Knowledge of division and program policies and procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management principles and practices. Ability to plan, organize, and oversee the work of subordinates. Ability to interpret and apply laws and policies. Ability to analyze and evaluate program and service delivery, effectiveness, and compliance. Ability to prepare and present oral and written information and reports.

Minimum Qualifications

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, or a related field; plus three years of experience in vocational programs or business, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.
