This position is responsible for the set-up of banquet facilities, meeting rooms, and convention center events that are scheduled in the lodge and surrounding park facilities. Job duties include setting up tables, buffets, and audio/visual equipment as well as delivering food and beverages during meetings and serving banquet meals. Applicant will also keep the banquet kitchen clean and organized between events, prepare proper storage of all equipment, and assist with inventory and supplies. When no banquets are in house this position is responsible for prepping and cooking food, ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and work area, and assisting where needed in the restaurant.
Applicant must be able to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions; plus one year of experience in institutional cooking or a related field, including six months in a leadership capacity. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
