This position will work at the lodge front desk assisting guests during their stay as well as inform day visitors with park information to maximize visit. Job duties include greeting guests, making reservations on the computer, completing check ins and check outs following policy and procedures, answer, and transfer phone calls, operating a cash register, selling merchandise, completing cash reports, assisting with resale inventory control and monthly inventory, assisting in cleaning, maintaining the facility and other duties as assigned. Knowledge of the area and the State of Arkansas are helpful. Excellent public relations skills are a must. The lodge is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, holidays, and weekends. A criminal background check is required. It will be required to work the night audit as needed to cover days off for the auditor.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience in customer service, bookkeeping or a related field.
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
