Job duties:
Conducts long-term care facility recertification, complaint, initial, and revisit surveys. This position is also responsible for identifying and documenting deficient practices in accordance with Centers for Medicare Services Principles of Documentation (CMS) and for completing the CMS survey process, including documentation and citation writing, while meeting all CMS - established deadlines. Extensive in-state overnight travel (4-5 nights a week) with occasional weekend and after-hours work is required. Additionally, this Registered Nurse surveyor position will be responsible for completing the team coordinator role on survey.
Preferred Qualifications:
Become SMQT certified within six months of employment.
Must hold a valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license issued by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or eligible for compact state status.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
