Special Requirements 

 

Must be able to work shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, holidays and during inclement weather events to provide coverage for a 24-hour facility. Shifts are subject to change.

 

This position will be working with at-risk male youth; employees may be subject to verbal abuse from students.

 

Must possess and must maintain a valid Arkansas Driver's License and meet the eligibility requirements covered by the state insurance policy.

 

Required to wear a CSTP Issued Uniform and maintain military style grooming and appearance.

 

The ability to participate in physical fitness activities is required.

 

 

 

Job Summary, Duties & Responsibilities

 

The Youth Program Specialist is responsible for providing physical training and guidance to students in the program. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Conducts drill and ceremony instruction, according to standards and procedures outlined in the United States Army FM 22-5. Performs individual and squad drill procedures, instructing students on the more complex movements and execution of commands. Executes drill and ceremony procedures in daily activities, to include all movements of assigned students. Conducts physical training with assigned students, according to United States Army FM 22-5 and Army FM 21-20 and performs physical training as an instructor and as a participant. Performs individual counseling in the area of performance, personal problems, and behavioral problems. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Social Services Assistant provides supportive services to social workers, case managers, and clients. This role assists with administrative tasks, outreach efforts, and client referrals to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist in client intake and service referrals. Provide basic counseling and resource navigation. Maintain accurate records and case documentation. Support community outreach and public education initiatives. Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups for client services.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong organizational and administrative abilities. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of six months of social work experience. Required to have a background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check.
