The mission of the Department of Military is to provide a professional staff of Arkansas State Employees who help maintain and improve the readiness of Arkansas National Guard units through effective fiscal management of State Resources, Human Resource Management, and quality administration of Arkansas National Guard Programs.
Additional job duties and/or day-in-the-life details:
Collects water samples to perform simple chemical tests to monitor the condition of the water. Completes daily logs on tests collected and plan operation. Adds the appropriate chemicals based on tests. Makes sure all plant equipment is operating correctly. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on plant equipment. Ensure that the plan office and building are clean and organized and maintains plant grounds.
Preferred qualifications, specific skills and/or professional background details:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years' experience in wastewater plant operations
- Ability to work outside in adverse conditions.
- Possess a Wastewater Level 1 or higher license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required, plus at least two (2) years of experience in one or more skilled trades.
