- Experience and knowledge of handling animals and animal husbandry practices.
- Experience with livestock markets and sales.
- Experience with exhibiting animals.
- Experience working with veterinarians.
- Understands the livestock and poultry industry on a state and national level.
- Ability to use Microsoft office, web-based programs, and a smart phone.
- Ability to prepare and compile data and reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- FEMA Incident Command Training.
