Job Duties:
Extensive file review via computer to determine clinical eligibility for Developmental Disabilities Services. Eligibility determinations for Community Employment Supports Medicaid Waiver, Autism Waiver, Intermediate Care Facilities, and (projected) Acquired Brain Injury Wavier. There is also the need for occasional face to face assessment to answer questions of eligibility for a particular citizen. Conference presentations to instruct others with the eligibility standards.
Preferred experience/knowledge working with and conducting psychological evaluations of individuals with developmental disabilities (intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, etc.). A Licensed Psychological Examiner - Independent is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field; plus one year of experience in psychological assessments, counseling, or mental health services.
Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
