The Restaurant Manager provides daily supervision to skilled and unskilled food service workers, oversees food quality, and ensures customer service standards are met. Job duties include; inspecting the restaurant for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs, coordinating repairs, developing/monitoring budget, food costs, menu planning and food preparation, coordinating special activities or accommodations for groups and handling customer complaints.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: the formal education equivalent of a high school diploma plus five years’ experience in restaurant management or related field, including two years’ experience in supervision. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
