This position functions as a lodge desk clerk with an emphasis on customer service. Job duties include greeting and assisting the public, providing information to guests and visitors, routing phone calls, making lodge and camping reservations utilizing a computerized reservation system and registering and checking in and out lodge and camping guests. Other job duties include operating a cash register, completing daily reports, keeping supplies stocked at the front desk, cleaning and maintaining the front desk and common areas adjacent to the front desk, and other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to work a varied shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A criminal background check is required.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience in customer service, bookkeeping, or related field. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
