This position performs general maintenance on facilities, grounds, and equipment. Duties include facility maintenance, litter pickup, mowing, weed trimming, operating and maintaining lawn equipment and park vehicles, and performing carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs. This position will also supervise seasonal maintenance staff. Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to traverse rough terrain, lift up to 50 lbs., and be able to work weekends and holidays. A driver’s record check will be performed. The position requires a Class II Wastewater certification. If applicant doesn’t have this, they will be required to attend training to acquire this level of certification.

Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications: the formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus two years of vocational technical training in maintenance; plus two years of experience in general maintenance, including one year in a leadership capacity. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
