Job Duties:
This position will be housed in northcentral Arkansas. The Services and Program Licensing Specialist position will work as a First Connections Service Coordinator and will perform the following duties:
Provides and/or facilitates service delivery to include case management/service coordination; gathers, evaluates, assesses information; determines service eligibility; conducts, participates in and facilitates planning teams; writes individualized plans independently or through team consensus; determines appropriate resource referrals; coordinates all developmental evaluations within required timelines and make referrals to appropriate programs, agencies, and services on behalf of clients. The Service Coordinator will implement compliance activities, perform administrative activities, and coordinate all developmental evaluations and make referrals to appropriate programs, agencies, and services on behalf of clients.
Special Requirements:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, or a related field; plus, one year of experience working with human service programs, conducting research and inspections or investigations, or a related field. OTHER JOB-RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
