Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Supervisor/Expert leads and supervises nursing teams, ensuring quality patient care delivery and adherence to healthcare standards and protocols. This position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage nursing staff in a variety of settings.
Primary Responsibilities
The assignment of supervisory duties is determined by the hiring agency's operational needs. Non-supervisory roles will serve as senior technical experts.
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of registered nurses and nursing support staff.
Oversee patient care planning, including assessing patient needs and monitoring outcomes.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards.
Provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource for nursing staff on complex cases.
Coordinate care across departments, ensuring efficient communication and workflow.
Assist in the development and implementation of nursing protocols and best practices.
Knowledge and Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical nursing practices, management, and patient care strategies.
Strong leadership, team building, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to analyze patient data, assess outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary.
Proficient in healthcare regulations, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for supervising teams and interacting with patients.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas. Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including supervisory experience.
