Job duties:
Review state and federal survey materials to ensure citations are supported by adequate evidence and comply with Principles of Documentation and applicable guidelines. Prepare and transmit required survey forms and correspondence to CMS and facilities.
Review and process Plans of Correction, Directed Plans of Correction, and enforcement actions in accordance with CMS requirements; communicate with surveyors, facility representatives, OLTC staff, and CMS; and track the survey process to ensure required desk reviews or revisits are completed and surveys are closed in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
Ability to perform physical assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
Proficiency in administering medications and treatments safely. Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
