- Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows servers and Windows workstations.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Power Shell scripting and Microsoft 365 suite administration.
- Experience with Linux server administration.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Knowledge of network security principles, including VPNs, intrusion detection systems
- Hands-on experience with relational database management systems. This includes installation, backup and recovery performance tuning etc. and a knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience in website maintenance
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

SALARY: Starting salary is $73,104. A higher starting salary would apply only if a promotional opportunity for a current state employee. Only completed applications will be accepted. Method of pay is direct deposit. Checking or savings account is required if hired.
7% Mandatory contribution to AR Teacher Retirement System is required if hired.
Employees hired or rehired in 2014 or later will be automatically enrolled into the Arkansas Diamond Deferred Compensation 457 Plan with a 3% automatic deduction. If you do not wish to participate, you have 90 days from your first deduction to opt out.
