The IT Infrastructure Coordinator position is critical to supporting DHS's mission by ensuring the security, stability, and resilience of the agency's IT environment. This role will coordinate and manage core network and system operations, monitor for cyber threats, and lead incident response efforts to protect sensitive data and maintain uninterrupted services. With the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyber threats, this position is essential for proactive risk mitigation, continuity of operations, and safeguarding critical agency functions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in information technology infrastructure or related roles, such as systems or network administration.

Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
