Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, educational administration, education, or related field; plus 3 years of experience in the area of investigations, fact finding, mediation, or law enforcement methodologies.

Versatile in conducting thorough, unbiased investigations across a range of subjects including educator misconduct, fraud, and other irregular activities.

Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of assorted personnel by presenting findings in meetings, hearings, or court proceedings if necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:

This position will work closely with internal and external personnel, external agencies, and/or law enforcement when required.

Initiate and execute comprehensive investigations into allegations concerning the license and discipline of professional educators by planning, organizing, and using structured methodology to employ various interview and document review techniques.

Gather relevant information via electronic records and written documentation to ensure integrity of data.

Analyze findings to establish factual patterns and potential risks or deviations from established standards.

Maintain meticulous records of investigative processes and prepare clear, concise and detailed investigations reports.

Maintain open contact with both complainants and educators regarding ethical complaints.
