Special Requirements
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Must be able to work independently and proactively in the absence of supervision.
Determine work priorities, follow through on tasks, and complete assignments within the time-frame required.
Outstanding Interpersonal communication skills are a must.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and with those contacted during the course of work.
In-state travel is required.
Occasional overnight stay may be required.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License in accordance with the requirements of all applicable Arkansas State Laws.
Must maintain Liability Coverage insurance, as required by AR State Law, on my private vehicle that is driven on State business.
Job Duties & Responsibilities - special functions performed
(A) Investigator(s) shall conduct investigations of all allegations, complaints and/or incidents assigned by supervisor of a serious or nonserious manner. (B). Gather any necessary evidence, documentation, also must identify and interview any witnesses, staff, clients, vendors, and contractors. (C). Compiles and analyzes information and evidence collected. (D). Complete a written investigative report including all documentation(s) with exhibits with a summary findings and policy and or contractual violations. (E). Maintain logs and records of incoming and outgoing incidents investigated. (F). Receive and review incoming incidents by Rite Track and other notification systems or other methods, ex: phone, email, text or in person. (G). Review, secure and record, if needed, facility video of incidents reported to IAU. (H). Conduct and maintain daily log of daily random video(s) of locations of facilities when able. (I). Conduct training to vendors or contractors on investigative practices. (J). Assist other law enforcement agencies or other agencies with information obtained during investigation. (K). Perform any other duties assigned.
