This is an Extra Help position that can work up to 1800 hours per Fiscal Year. This position carries no state benefits / leave accrual.
This position will serve as the Hotline Operator for the Adult Protective Service Unit and will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Arkansas Adult Maltreatment Hotline. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency policy.
Manage the Adult Maltreatment Hotline by entering reports of suspected maltreatment in the APS database. Confer with clients via telephone. Provide supportive services to state, federal, and outside agencies. Assist supervisors and administrators by prioritizing incoming calls, researching case history for telephone inquires, and performing other day to day administrative support functions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
