Additional Preferences:

A master’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
Four (4) years of experience in a high-complex laboratory environment preferred.
Knowledge/use of laboratory equipment and testing methods preferred.
Specimen handling and laboratory testing experience preferred.
Good organizational skills preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and LIMS preferred.
Applicant working in this position may have potential exposure to biological and chemical agents.

Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities
Knowledge and Skills
Expert knowledge of public health systems, policies, and population health strategies. Advanced experience in program management, including budgeting, strategic planning, and policy development. Proficiency in using and interpreting programmatic data to inform decisions. Ability to lead and oversee federal grant and contract administration. Strong understanding of state and federal health regulations, public funding mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or a closely related field, plus five (5) years of experience in public health, program coordination, or health education, plus two (2) years of supervisory experience.
