"This position is for a Forensic Medicolegal Death investigator for the Medical Examiner's section. Forensic Investigator responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing cases submitted to the Medical Examiner Section, presenting cases to the medical examiners, speaking with investigative agencies, requesting records, investigating deaths, and ensuring appropriate intake and release of decedent. Investigators are also responsible for transporting decedents to Medical Examiner's Office for examination. This position may require working weekends.
Requirements to perform all duties with this position are as follows: • Good driving record, requires some driving and transporting decedents. • Ability to push or pull 150 lbs. • Ability to work on weekends and holidays • Independent and teamwork • Direct contact with decedents • Ability to type reports, take notes, e-mails • Communication skills with other agencies • Troubleshooting and managing stressful situations."

Minimum Qualifications
At least one year of experience in forensic analysis, laboratory work, crime scene processing, medicolegal death investigation, evidence management, or a related field.
