Position Information:
Supervise a team of 3 responsible for coding payments, sending payments to be processed, setting rates, sending accurate and timely letters to providers. Calculates payments, sets and updates yearly rates, weekly audits cost settlement payments. Assist in forecasting yearly budgets, sends monthly and quarterly reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of state fiscal policies, regulations, and best practices. Ability to interpret and apply rules, laws, and policies to specific situations.
Expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and Principles. Ability to interpret and analyze automated accounting transactions.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) to produce reports and correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Three to five years of experience in fiscal management or accounting. Previous experience supervising a team is preferred.
