This position will work in the charge services department at the Arkansas State Hospital. They will work with our payers and providers for credentialing, report payments for proper coding to the state treasury, post payments to our billing software, keep our billing software up to with with correct and current information about our providers and work with updating our chargemaster and billing system with new charges. They will be responsible for transferring information between our clearing house and billing software and they will also have courier/mail duties.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Credentialing, Payment Posting, Electronic Payments/EFT, Chargemaster, Light Coding, Claim Rejections, insurance eligibility checks and Medicare, Medicaid, 3rd Party Insurance Payments.

A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
