Job Description: This position is responsible for the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) which includes sorting and auditing all invoices; verifying remittance address, purchase codes, fiscal years, expenditure codes and transaction amounts; auditing and reconciling all invoices to comply with state purchasing regulations; verifying extensions, correcting additions and tax as needed, and taking discounts on invoices when applicable. For invoices with Purchase Orders, enter invoice data into MIRO Module of AASIS. For Non-Purchase Order Invoices, enter and park data into FB60 Module of AASIS. Review all documents in AASIS before simulating and parking for posting by AP Supervisor. Prepare documents for Post Audit and filing. Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, organization, and prioritization of workload, and providing excellent customer service to the Agency’s vendors and staff. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and familiarity with the AASIS accounting system is preferred.
Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus two years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications
