This position is responsible for overseeing cash disbursements within the Cash Receipts Office. The duties include: Collecting and recording cash inflows and outflows, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring receipts are issued for all payments received, verifying and reconciling monies received, updating check registers and the PMF/PA spreadsheets, handling daily inquiries from unit staff and family members, reconciling cash drawers to ensure accuracy and accountability and providing back-up support for the Finance Office.

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of an associate’s degree in general business, business management, or a related field; plus three years of experience in fiscal operations. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
