Preferred Qualifications:
Must be certified by the Arkansas State Law Enforcement Standards Commission as a law enforcement officer.
Must qualify to be certified by the Arkansas Crime Information Commission as a Terminal operator to access their system
Must qualify to be certified by all Pulaski County Courts to serve their papers.
Job duties to include but not limited to:
Serve all legal documents from the Little Rock Regional OCSE. Serve legal documents in accordance with rules of civil procedure established by the Arkansas Supreme Court and the rules established by the Pulaski County Courts. Check documents for accuracy prior to service. Prepare accurate logs showing the disposition of all legal documents handled. Serve documents within the time allowed for service. Locate persons to be served using ACIC/NCIC, Arkansas Justice Exchange, OCSE computer system, past or present employers, past landlords, neighbors, friends, relatives, state parole and probation offices, other police agencies and the U.S. post office. Prepare return of service forms on all papers served and return them to the legal department in a timely manner. Make entries into the case note screen of the OCSE computer system showing the disposition of all papers handled.

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of an associate’s degree in office administration, business administration or a related field; plus one year of experience in investigative work, eligibility review, or within a social service program. OR The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus four years of experience in investigative work, eligibility review, or within a social service program. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
