- Elementary Special Education Teacher (K-6)
- Successful applicants must currently possess licensure as a special education instructional specialist in the grades served (licensure code 230, 231, 246, or equivalent) or qualify for an alternate pathway to obtain the necessary licensure credential. Experience serving blind and/or visually impaired students with developmental delays is preferred. Proficiency in reading and transcribing Braille at an instructional level is required. Applicants who do not currently possess proficiency in reading and transcribing Braille at an instructional level will be expected to obtain that credential through a training program in a specified timeframe provided by the school. Candidates must commit to receive additional professional development training provided by the school or licensure credential in delivering appropriate services to blind and visually impaired students.
