Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate should be familiar with or have the ability to quickly familiarize themselves with Medical Marijuana Laws as well as the Administrative Procedures Act. Experience with Legal drafting for state agencies is preferred. Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act is preferred.
Position Specifics:
Candidate must have the ability to work with constituents, lobbyists, and divisional leadership to assist in all legislative processes. Candidate must have excellent legal research and writing skills. Candidate should be familiar with State and Federal Privacy laws. Must possess a valid Arkansas Drivers License and have a license to practice law in the State of Arkansas.

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a law degree from an accredited law school. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. Licenses
Must be licensed to practice law and admitted to the Arkansas State Bar in accordance with ACA 16-22-201. Must possess a valid Arkansas drivers license.
