Position Summary
The Applications Analyst I is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that support an agency's or organization's business processes and operations. By bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, the Applications Analyst I collaborates with developers and information technology teams in an attempt to ensure applications are functional, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. This role demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and the technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
This position requires on-site employment with no remote or hybrid options available.

Experience with documentation tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio)
Job Responsibilities and Expected Results
Assisting with project planning, monitoring, and ensuring solutions align with business requirements.
Develop technical and functional requirements document.
Serving as a liaison between Business and IT on business needs.
Interview business users about system or process upgrades.
Document business requirements.
Gather critical information from meetings and produce useful reports.
Translate business needs into clear specifications.
