Preferred Qualifications:
- THIS IS A RECEIVING SECTION SUPERVISOR POSITION IN THE VETERINARY DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage client concerns, technical duties, and employees in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively work with other teams to resolve problems. Must have interpersonal skills to gain cooperation with other teams and foster continuous improvements.
- Able to make independent decisions, organize and lead projects within the work group and with cross functional groups.
- Experience in handling potentially infectious and/or hazardous materials including, but not limited to, animal bodily fluids, tissues, microbiological cultures, and agricultural samples containing pesticides.
- At least one year of documented experience working within a formal quality management system authoring and revising controlled documents and performing root cause/corrective action analysis.
- The ability and willingness to regularly wear personal protective equipment and to comply with fit testing requirements is a fundamental requirement of this position.
- Vaccination against rabies may be required, as well as documented maintenance of titer.
- This position is on-site, essential, and is not approved for remote work.
