Job Duties: Prepares for AAC Commission meetings by scheduling meetings, notifying Commissioners, preparing packets, recording and transcribing minutes. Provides support to all Arts Council programs by maintaining databases, scheduling meetings, and creating packets.
Serves as front desk receptionist for the Division of Heritage as scheduled. Monitor staff time sheets and leave requests ensuring that entries are correct, and deadlines are met. Limited financial responsibilities include issuing coding receipts for credit cards, checks and cash; handling cash, check and credit card payments and receipts. Makes business travel arrangements for staff as necessary. Review and answer or prepare correspondence relating to division programs. Provides information, assistance, and clarifications to interested parties concerning division policies and procedures. Attends workshops and meetings to stay abreast of trends in applicable areas.
Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus four years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.
