Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in public administration, general business, or a related field; plus, two years of experience in planning, research, or a related field.
Preferred Qualification
Applicant must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Applicant must be willing to travel extensively within the state. Must possess a valid Arkansas Driver's license.

- Knowledge of specialized DWS program area practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of interviewing techniques.
- Knowledge of skills assessment techniques.
- Skill in operating computer equipment.
- Ability to gather information and determine eligibility for programs or services.
- Ability to effectively communicate information orally and in writing.
- Ability to locate and research information.
Job Responsibilities and Expected Results
Key Business Processes/Duties
- Conducts outreach to Migrant Seasonal Farm Workers (MSFWs) by visiting farms employing MFSWs to notify them of available programs and services.
- Explains to MSFW by means of written and oral presentations in a language readily understood by them:
- Services available at the local one-stop center.
- Information on the Employment-related Law Complaint System.
- Information on the other organizations serving MSFWs in the area; and
- A basic summary of farmworker rights, including farm worker rights with respect to the terms and conditions of employment.
- Observes working and living condition of MFSWs and, upon observation or upon receipt of information regarding a suspected violation of Federal or State employment-related law, documents and refers information to the Employment Services Office Manager for processing
- Enters MFSWs info1mation into Arkansas Job Link (AJL) if they are interested in services but are unable/unwilling to visit a workforce center.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
