Preferred Qualifications.
Knowledge of state procurement laws, financial policies, and legislative budget processes.
Experience using enterprise financial systems (e.g., AASIS/SAP)
Strong knowledge of governmental accounting standards (GASB/GAAP), state/federal funding, grants, and appropriations.
Proven ability to lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and audit/compliance functions at a large scale.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with ability to collaborate across divisions and present to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university, plus 4 years of accounting experience.
Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
