Position Summary
The IT Infrastructure Analyst will support the implementation and oversight of major broadband initiatives (BEAD, CPF) aimed at expanding broadband access across the state. Responsibilities include managing complex projects and vendor relationships, coordinating across state agencies, engaging with community and industry stakeholders, and supporting legislative and public outreach efforts. The position also involves analyzing broadband data, conducting research, monitoring grantee performance, and ensuring compliance with federal and state program requirements. This role should operate with professionalism, precision, and a clear commitment to public service in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.
This position requires on-site employment with no remote or hybrid options available.
Job Responsibilities and Expected Results
Project Management
- Lead the planning and execution of complex broadband initiatives from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, track milestones, and coordinate internal and external resources to meet deadlines.
Vendor and Grantee Management
- Monitor compliance with state and federal grant guidelines, assist in the resolution of issues, and maintain accurate records of all interactions and milestones.
Stakeholder Communications and Engagement
- Engage proactively with ISPs, local governments, nonprofits, and community leaders to communicate program goals, gather feedback, and build partnerships.
- Develop clear, accessible materials and briefings for public meetings, town halls, and stakeholder sessions.
Data Analysis and Policy Research
- Collect, analyze, and interpret broadband data to support program decisions and policy development.
- Prepare briefing memos, dashboards, and reports for internal use and external communication.
Public Presentations and Legislative Affairs
- Prepare and deliver presentations for state officials, legislative committees, and public forums.
- Track broadband-related legislation and provide analysis to inform agency positions and strategies.
Interagency Coordination
- Collaborate with state agencies, federal partners, and regional entities to align goals, share data, and streamline operations.
- Serve as a liaison for broadband-related programs and cross-cutting initiatives, such as workforce development.

Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an agency’s or organization’s information technology infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency. This role involves managing servers, networks, storage systems, and other infrastructure components while identifying opportunities to enhance performance, security, and capacity. The IT Infrastructure Analyst provides technical support, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with various teams to align the infrastructure with business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain information technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
Monitor system performance and ensure uptime, availability, and optimal functioning of infrastructure components.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend upgrades or improvements to support growth and efficiency.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect infrastructure from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes to ensure accurate records are maintained.
Support the implementation of disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard data integrity.
Collaborate with information technology teams, vendors, and a variety of assorted personnel on infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
Research emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the agency’s or organization’s infrastructure.
Provide support and training to end-users and junior information technology personnel as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in information technology infrastructure or related roles, such as systems or network administration.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
Proven expertise in managing enterprise-level networks, servers, and storage systems.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Server+, or CompTIA Network+ may be required.
Strong understanding of network protocols, security practices, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
