Job Summary

The Revenue Regional Manager is a senior leadership classification responsible for managing the operations and personnel of multiple DFA Revenue or Child Support offices within a designated region of Arkansas. This role provides strategic oversight, ensures compliance with state tax laws and policies, and fosters efficient service delivery to the public across a variety of revenue functions, including tax processing, collections, licensing, motor vehicle, or child support services.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations and performance of multiple Revenue or Child Support offices within an assigned geographic region. Ensure uniform interpretation and implementation of state tax laws, state and federal child support laws, regulations, and DFA policies across all locations in the region. Monitor service delivery, workflow, and customer service quality to ensure efficient and timely public interactions. Coordinate and facilitate staff training, professional development, and operational updates within the region. Evaluate regional performance through data analysis and reporting; recommend and implement process improvements. Serve as the primary contact for escalated customer issues, office emergencies, or policy concerns within the region. Collaborate with DFA central leadership, IT, legal, and HR teams to align regional practices with statewide strategies. Conduct regional meetings, site visits, audits, and compliance checks to ensure accountability and operational integrity. Support the development and implementation of legislative, procedural, or technology changes impacting office operations.

Knowledge and Skills

Applies strategic thinking to coordinate regional goals with statewide initiatives. Effectively allocates resources and staff to meet operational and customer service needs. Communicates clearly and confidently with staff, supervisors, public stakeholders, and executive leadership. Addresses public concerns professionally and resolves conflicts diplomatically. Uses performance data and financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments and leading teams through procedural or legislative change.

Minimum Qualifications

An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, economics, social work, or a related field plus four years’ experience in the supervised or related field, including two years in a supervisor or leadership capacity. OR A high school diploma plus six (6) years of experience in customer service, bookkeeping, tax preparation, cash handling, data entry, administrative support, or the supervised field, including two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
