Job Duties:
This position will supervise staff, assign referrals, close referrals, meet with staff to ensure they are following all plans, policies, and procedures related to child safety. Ensure adequate services are provided to families.
Conference safety assessment, foster care removals, and TDM meetings. Review affidavits for 30 day/ 72 hour holds petitions and attend court hearings when necessary. Review history to ensure staff are assessing and making proper recommendations. Review narratives for accuracy and safety of children. Participate in TDM meetings, Forensic Interviews, and TCAR exams when necessary. Collaborate with other DCFS units, stakeholders, and community providers to ensure child safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. In lieu of a degree, relevant professional experience may be substituted.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of four years of work experience in human services programs or public service work, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Required to have a background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check.
