Position Summary

The Rehabilitation Administrator is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing rehabilitation programs and services for individuals with disabilities. This leadership role encompasses managing personnel, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with pre-determined organizational and regulatory standards. The Rehabilitation Administrator drives the development of high-quality, client-focused services, optimizing program operations in an attempt to improve client outcomes and satisfaction. By combining strategic vision with operational expertise, the Rehabilitation Administrator ensures the effective delivery of rehabilitation services within healthcare, community, or educational settings.

 

This position requires on-site employment with no remote or hybrid options available.

Job Responsibilities and Expected Results

Develop and implement strategic plans for rehabilitation programs, aligning with organizational goals and client needs.

Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations in an attempt to enhance service delivery.

Advocate for accessibility and inclusion, promoting awareness of rehabilitation services within the community.

Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and advancements to maintain excellence in rehabilitation practices.

Develop and implement rehabilitation personnel training programs to enhance skills and knowledge across the team.

Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for organizational leadership or external personnel.

The Rehabilitation Administrator drives the development of high-quality, client-focused services, optimizing program operations in an attempt to improve client outcomes and satisfaction. By combining strategic vision with operational expertise, the Rehabilitation Administrator ensures the effective delivery of rehabilitation services within healthcare, community, or educational settings.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and collaborate with a variety of assorted personnel. Knowledge of rehabilitation methods, healthcare regulations, and resource management. Proficiency in data analysis, program evaluation, and budget management. Empathy and cultural competence to address the needs of varied client populations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in rehabilitation services, rehabilitation instruction, rehabilitation counseling, program management, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Previous supervisory or administrative experience, particularly in overseeing rehabilitation programs.

Certification in Healthcare Leadership or Administration

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) may be required.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) may be required.

Licensure/Certifications
