This is an Extra Help or Part-Time position with pay of $14.00 per hour.
This position will support trail maintenance and facilities at the Delta Heritage Trail in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas with responsibilities that include performing routine trail maintenance such as clearing brush, managing weeds, removing fallen limbs, repairing trail surfaces, and collecting litter. The role also involves weed eating and mowing, upkeep and daily cleaning of trailhead grounds, kiosks, signage, campsites, as well as the interior and exterior of trailhead buildings and restrooms. Employees will operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and small equipment including weed trimmers, mowers, ATVs, and tractors while collaborating with maintenance supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of work. The position requires following established safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment, as well as promptly reporting unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Team members work closely with maintenance and facilities staff to ensure coordinated efforts, provide clear updates on completed tasks, and communicate any issues or future maintenance needs. The role also includes interacting courteously with park visitors by providing directions or basic information, as well as maintaining professional communication with park staff and team members. Candidates must have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking on uneven terrain along with the ability to traverse rough terrain on foot and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or GED.

At least six months of experience customer service, bookkeeping, retail operations, or a related field.
