The mission of the Department of Military is to provide a professional staff of Arkansas State Employees who help maintain and improve the readiness of Arkansas National Guard units through effective fiscal management of State Resources, Human Resource Management, and quality administration of Arkansas National Guard Programs.

Additional Job Duties:
The Landscape Coordinator position is a part time position that works as a team member of the Fort Chaffee Dept of Public Works - Roads & Grounds team. Primary duties include the operation and routine maintenance of a variety of landscaping equipment (zero-turn mowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, etc) to conduct grounds maintenance and landscaping. Additional duties may include performing some road maintenance using various heavy equipment (skid-steers, back-hoes, tractors, etc). Employees are expected to primarily work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating and conducting routine maintenance on landscaping/lawn care equipment preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
