This position manages the Visitor Information Center along with store and gift shop operations. Duties include managing cabin and camping reservations, answering the phone, greeting customers, providing information, facility maintenance, and resolving complaints. Other duties include handling monetary transactions, ordering supplies and merchandise, pricing resale items, preparing displays, maintaining inventory control records and other duties as assigned. This position trains and supervises both full-time and seasonal employees in facility operations, maintains performance files and reports, tracks the cost of sales, and conducts duties for reporting purposes. This position will be required to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Applicants with knowledge of Maestro software and Microsoft Office preferred.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The formal education equivalent of an associate’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; plus two years of experience in business, including one year of supervisory experience. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
