- Meets with all new admissions and ensures all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted to all internal and external parties (Medicaid and Social Security)
- Coordinates with staff for the completion of eligibility paperwork.
- Monitors Medicaid eligibility for all residences (Annual Renewals and updates spreadsheets)
- Tracks and monitors social security and all other sources of benefits
- Responsible for commercial accounts money management procedures, receipts, all money for all accounts (Gifts and Bequests, Incidental, Personal funds and Canteen)
- Provides assistance to parents/guardians/outsource providers by telephone in person or mail.
- Answers questions, reviews, and audits documents to ensure completion
- Verifies codes, calculations and authorizations
- Handles mail of residents, such as bills, insurance, requests from Social Security and Medicaid.
- Contact person for Social Security for case reviews and requests for medical records.
- Submit requests for residents personal funds allowance from their monthly benefits.
- Back up Biller
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
