Duties for this position will include administrative assistance across teams within the Arkansas PBS Education Department, including Arkansas PBS community education (25%) and ArkansasIDEAS (75%). The Administrative Specialist III is responsible for assisting department staff in all areas of administrative duties, including assisting staff on all in-house and field production/event duties, including travel, equipment/materials/supplies transport, and hospitality for guests and partners. Coordinates and prepares facilities forms and records. Research program information and background. Assists with data processing and budget input. Schedules meetings/events and facilitates correspondence within and across departments and teams. Coordinates travel for staff within the department, making travel arrangements and preparing necessary documentation. Facilitates hiring process within department by corresponding with job candidates to schedule interviews and collect forms. Prepares and maintains recordkeeping for purchasing & travel requisitions; updates and maintains administrative files; maintains and updates budget files for the department.

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus three years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.
