Special Work Conditioins: The Administrative Specialist will serve as the Financial Coordinator for Area 5 providing essential financial services and support to DCFS staff, foster parents, and foster children. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving purchases, and documenting transactions in the system, managing trust fund requests, purchase orders, and contract referrals. Additional duties involve processing applications for state purchase cards, ordering supplies, and coordinating state vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Preferred Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education, and at least 2 years of experiences in administration/ office management, or finance. Also must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and proficient computer skills.
