NOTE: This RN position will function as a CNA TRAINER at the CNA Training School located at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton (Haskell), AR.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of 2 years nursing experience with 1 year in long-term care within the last 5 years.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
3. Ability to assess need for an develop educational components for staff with a varied educational background.
4. Demonstrate professional knowledge and skills in long-term care as evidenced by education/employment history.

Special Working Conditions/Preferences: Position is located at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton, AR. This position starts at the Entry Rate of $63,830.00/Annually but may be adjusted by experience and years of service. Employees may be required to work rotating shifts or hours other than normal working hours. May require lifting and positioning of patients, walking, use of restraints and aggressive behavior management practices.

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a diploma, associate's, or bachelor's degree in nursing. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing in accordance with ACA 17-87-307. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
