This position will work as the Community Health Promotion Specialist and can be housed in any of the following locations:
Dawson Educational Cooperative – 711 Clinton Street – Arkadelphia, AR 71923
DeQueen/Mena Educational Cooperative – 305 Hornberg Ave. – Gillham, AR 71841
South Central Service Educational Cooperative – 2235 California SW – Camden, AR 71701
Southwest Educational Cooperative – 2502 S Main Street – Hope, AR 71801
This position will serve the following Southwest Region Counties: Clark, Hempstead, Ouachita, and Sevier.
Experience working with public schools preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in planning or implementing Public Health Programs preferred.
Experience presenting and/or communicating to multi-disciplinary groups.
A master’s degree in nutrition, Health Education, or Public Administration preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a master’s degree in public health, public health administration, public administration or related field. OR The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in public health, public healthadministration, public administration or related field; plus one year of experience in healthprogram administration or operations. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
